Parking on the UCI campus is complimentary and no permits are needed during Commencement ceremony hours for graduates and their guests. You may use any parking space designated for the commencement ceremony except those reserved for disabled parking, service vehicles, and vehicles with “X” permits.Traffic will be heavy so plan to arrive 90 minutes before the ceremony. UCI event staff will direct traffic to the closest available parking lots. Please follow directions from event staff on-site.
Accessible Parking and Mobility Assistance
Disabled/elderly parking for ceremonies held in the Bren Events Center will be located in the Mesa Parking Structure and parking lot 14A. Traffic directors will be available to guide drivers needing accessible parking.Cart service will be available to and from parking lot 14A and the Bren Events Center. Cart service is limited to the disabled/elderly guest and one family member.Drop-Off Area For ceremonies held in the Bren Events Center, disabled/elderly passengers may be dropped off in designated areas near the facility.Graduates and participants should anticipate heavy traffic and plan accordingly to get to their designated staging area.Due to safety concerns, please do not drop off passengers in the middle of the road or curbside as this will increase traffic congestion.
